Since 1975, Bill has been a force in the legal field and, since 1995, he has devoted himself exclusively to family law with Gevurtz Menashe. His work has shaped the landscape of family law in Oregon and beyond.

Beyond his professional achievements, Bill has shared his passion for the arts and charitable activities. He and his wife, Joy, produced an award-winning musical play and a theatrical play in New York City. Bill remains deeply involved in community efforts, including his advocacy with Senior Advocates for Generational Equity (SAGE).
As Bill transitions to “Active Pro Bono” status with the Oregon State Bar on January 1, 2025, his commitment to service continues. He plans to focus on pro bono work and charitable endeavors while spending time with his family, traveling, and embracing new adventures.

Zachary J. Fruchtengarten is the Managing Shareholder at Gevurtz Menashe, where he represents individuals and families in a wide range of family law matters, including high-asset divorce, custody and parenting time, spousal and child support, and prenuptial and postnuptial agreements. He is known for his strategic, financially informed approach and his ability to guide clients through complex and emotionally challenging situations with clarity and confidence. Zach earned his joint Juris Doctor and Master of Business Administration from the University of Oregon and began his career at a large public accounting firm, experience that continues to inform his work on financially sophisticated cases. In his free time, he enjoys cooking and golfing.
