On September 18, 2011, Gevurtz Menashe joined more than 40,000 runners and volunteers for the 20th Annual Susan G. Komen Portland Race for the Cure. As a firm, we accepted the challenge to make a difference in the lives of friends, mothers, sisters, daughters, grandmothers, and neighbors who are have been diagnosed with breast cancer.
Over the past 20 years, Komen has made a difference by increasing the five-year survival rate from breast cancer diagnosed at its earliest stage from 74% to 98%. Gevurtz Menashe is proud to have taken part in this event, and to have helped create more birthdays for over 2.5 million breast cancer survivors!
