As a family law paralegal, my job includes communicating with clients, organizing and maintaining the schedule of various attorneys, assisting with the drafting and filing of pleadings, and ensuring that my teams are running as smoothly as possible. Throughout my experience in family law, I have learned that for many clients, one of the most difficult parts of being involved in a family law case is the feeling of confusion and loss of control that coincides with putting their lives in the hands of a process that is complex and unfamiliar. In my everyday work, I strive to keep our clients in the loop every step of the way to ensure that they feel as supported and informed as possible.

When I’m not working, I can often be found swimming laps at a pool, watching a scary movie, or curled up with a good book!

I have been working as a Legal Assistant in the family law arena for more than three decades. Being a caring and compassionate person, I feel assisting clients as they work through their stressful family law issues is where I belong. I am pleased to now be a part of the Gevurtz Menashe firm and look forward to assisting clients utilizing my knowledge and experience. When not at work, I enjoy traveling with my husband, spending time with my family and friends, reading, and the sunshine.

As the newest member of the Accounting Team, it is my job to assist the Senior Finance Manager with any  assignments she gives me. Although I've just been here for a short while, I am very impressed with the community here at Gevurtz Menashe. I look forward to getting to know the staff and helping things run smoothly in the Accounting Department. I love spending time with my family (and especially my grandchildren) and watching crime shows with my husband.

I find deep fulfillment in supporting individuals during some of the most challenging times in their lives, serving as a trusted ally to help them with our intake process.

When I am away from work, I love immersing myself in nature, which rejuvenates my spirit, and I enjoy cozy movie nights with my doggo. Guided by the words of Audrey Hepburn, I believe in the dual responsibility of helping oneself and others: "As you grow older, you will discover that you have two hands, one for helping yourself, the other for helping others."

As a Family Law Paralegal, I assist attorneys with managing their caseload in an efficient and effective manner and I support clients as they navigate the legal process. I approach my work with the utmost empathy, thoroughness, and care. I acknowledge that the clients we serve at GM are oftentimes facing some of life’s greatest challenges; I want our clients to feel as comfortable and informed as possible throughout their case by maintaining personalized and frequent client communication through the duration of their matter.

I’m often described as personable, inquisitive, and considerate. I believe all these qualities translate well to working on a legal team and working with family law clients.

Outside of work, I love to read, be out in the sun, walk to coffee shops, try new vegan restaurants, and spend time with my family and our crazy French Bulldog, Bug.

As a Senior Paralegal in Estate Planning, my role includes client communication and rapport, drafting and revising estate planning documents, and ensuring the entire process is as smooth as possible.  Estate Planning can be a very complex and difficult topic for clients; I endeavor to assist them through it with compassion (and a touch of lighthearted humor).  My years of experience in Estate Planning have taught me that being clear, concise, and kind are the keys to a successful experience for all involved.

As Office Services Manager I oversee my team in general administrative functions. One important lesson I’ve learned in my professional life is the meaning and value of genuine hospitality and how I can carry that with me into any new job. I also try to stay in a constant state of curiosity and being open to learning, both in my job and personal hobbies.
